Con l'espressione Mystica Philosophica si intende l'unione dell'individuo con Dio, senza intermediari, attraverso un percorso speculativo che è, ad un tempo, elevazione e discesa nel "fondo" dell'anima.
I testi di questa sezione descrivono la deificazione, un'esperienza rievocata dal potere simbolico della scrittura che ha implicazioni etiche.

In 1303, Pietro d'Abano composes the Conciliator differentiarum philosophorum et precipue medicorum, a medical manual. In this book he writes about the interdisciplinary nature of medicine.
Corpus Hermeticum
The dialogues on philosophical topics, which were attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, and were composed between the 1st century and the 2nd century AD, were brought together in the Corpus Hermeticum by the Byzantine scholar Michael Psellos.
